    Dear Sarah,
Will it be possible for my girls 8 and 12 to learn stiches from your books without any other training?

    • Sarah says:

      Hi Ampili,

Thank you for stopping by. Our eBooks are designed to make an absolute beginner feel comfortable with needlework. When, it comes to kids, I take a slightly different approach to introduce hand embroidery. If you can guide them through, my eBook ’12 Basic Hand Embroidery Stitches’ will be good to buy.
      Check it out here: https://www.embroidery.rocksea.org/product/hand-embroidery-beginners/

If your girls are absolutely new to stitching, I recommend they have a one on one session with a trainer at least for a few months. This will help them find joy in stitching. Once the essentials and basics of hand embroidery are well grasped, they can take up a book.

In fact, I am running an online course for a few young learners in the US. It is conducted on Saturday mornings. The course is run through different modules using different fun projects. The youngest learner is 8 years old! If you are interested and would like to know more about it, please email to sarah@rocksea.org. ☺️

Here is a link to the course info: https://www.embroidery.rocksea.org/courses/kb1/

For Syliva; Just an idea for you concerning the e-book. I took an e-book file to a local print shop and had them print it out for me, then bought a binder and put the pages in, and tah-dah my very own hard copy. I too like to look at a book while working on my embroidery instead of the computer screen.

I truly love the things you do. All your ideas and projects are spectacular!1 I do wish your e-book would come in hard cover. It would make a lovely gift for the crafters on my gift list.

    • Sarah says:

Thank you, Marion. I wish we could do a hardcover too! 😀 It is a huge book and it might take a little for the hardcover to happen, if at all. The eBook is a handier version for a bulky book like this. 🙂
