This book is absolutely wonderful. Well organized, so informative and just enough content to educate without feeling overwhelmed. This will definitely be my go to book as I learn to do all the stitches. I previously purchased Sarah’s book called “Hand Embroidery for Left Handers” and that book is just as great. I even started teaching my 7- year old granddaughter using Zoom meeting, some very basic embroidery tips in the book. This i such a beautiful book. Sarah has included so much information, from the history of embroidery to the difference between needles, fabrics and threads and the book is full of really lovely illustrations. It is absolutely ideal for beginners but also a more experienced stitcher would find plenty of ideas here too. The patterns are a real bonus and Sarah explains different ways to transfer them to fabric.
It is amazingly good value for money and I highly recommend the book.
