Commissions and Collaborations

Bespoke Hand Embroidery, Thoughtfully Created

Each commissioned piece is an exploration of story, material, and meaning.

I collaborate with individuals, organizations, and institutions to create hand embroidery artworks that are deeply personal, visually refined, and crafted to last. My work often intersects with themes of nature, memory, and climate, translating complex ideas into quiet, tactile narratives.

If you’re looking to create something intentional and enduring, I would love to hear from you.

Limited commissions accepted each season.

Featured Commissions

1. Seeds of Change

An Homage to Climate Leadership

An award ward piece commissioned by women Moving Millions (NY), “Seeds of Change”, was jointly conceptualised with climate scientist Roxy Mathew Koll. It was presented to Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland,  as the 2025 Catalyst Award, honoring her lifelong work in climate justice and her leadership in the global initiative Project Dandelion.

Every element was intentionally designed to reflect resilience, responsibility, and global interconnectedness. The central figure portrays a woman as the face of climate justice—those most burdened by a warming planet yet leading its renewal and resilience. Her flowing hair is embroidered with the Warming Stripes, using temperature data from 1850 to 2024, illustrating how the world has warmed over time and the weight women carry in this global struggle. The strands of her hair transform into the ocean, flora, and fauna, expressing the movement from ego to eco. The artwork celebrates women’s resilience and Mary Robinson’s role as a catalyst for change in a changing climate.

2. Gone with the Heat

A Hand Embroidered Reflection on Fragility

“Gone with the Heat”, an embroidered story of coral reef bleaching under marine heatwaves.

A commissioned piece exploring the impact of climate change on coral ecosystems. This piece named “Gone with the Heat” was auctioned to a representative of the UN.

The coral and the marine species in the artwork are from the Indian Ocean region and found in the coral triangle. The artwork is hand embroidery on canvas, along with water color, acrylic, beads, and sand from the Indian Ocean. Each coral and fish species are depicted with different hand embroidery stitches. Through the stark shift in color and texture, the work captures the loss of vibrancy, mirroring the silent transformation of living reefs under environmental stress. Two canvas were used to evoke both beauty and loss, inviting the viewer to pause and reflect.
