How to do the Overlayed Threaded Chain Stitch

Fig 1: Lay a foundation of Chain Stitch. Use a contrasting thread and come out from one end of the Chain Stitch row. Take the thread through each loop of chain made to give a whipped appearance.	Fig 2: Next, pass it under the right half of the next chain. Keep up with this process for the entire row of the Chain Stitch.
Fig 3: A section of the Overlayed Laced Chain Stitch will appear like this. You will see that the laced thread is more visible in this variation.
