About the Woven Cross Stitch
The Woven Cross Stitch is an attractive stitch made from multiple layers of the Cross Stitch. This is a beautiful stitch to create prominent and textured fillings. In this tutorial, I use two crosses. You can, however, use more layers of crosses woven into each other. Ensure that you use the alternate side of the primary cross to weave the layered crosses each time.

| Fig 1: Come out from A and go diagonally across into B. Come out through C, which lies straight below A and beside B. | Fig 2: Go across to D, which lies straight above B. Basically, we are making a big cross. |

| Fig 3: Do the first step with another thread to overlap the earlier stitch A-B. | Fig 4: Now, go across to take your needle in through D, but on the way, pass your needle under and over the two stitches as shown. This weaves the stitches in place. |
