The Ornate Herringbone Stitch is genuinely decorative. With a simple addition of another stitch, the Lazy Daisy, a simple row of Herringbone Stitch is decked up richly. You can add more to it by slipping in a bead at the anchor of the Lazy Daisies!

Fig 2: Next come out with another colored thread at the intersection of the first Herringbone Stitch and work a Lazy Daisy Stitch over it. Work it from the inside to the outside. |
